Terms of Service

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create a LetsCrawl account. By using LetsCrawl you represent that you meet this requirement and that you are not prohibited from using the Service under any applicable law.

Individual crawls may impose additional age requirements (set by the host or required by local law — for example, alcohol-focused crawls require legal drinking age in the relevant jurisdiction). The Service enforces these per-crawl age gates at join time; you cannot join a crawl unless you meet its age requirement.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose a risk to other users.

Responsible use

LetsCrawl supports a wide range of themed group experiences (museum walks, coffee tours, food tours, pub crawls, and more). You agree to use the Service responsibly and to follow all applicable laws and venue rules during a crawl. For crawls that involve alcohol, you also agree not to drive or operate heavy machinery while impaired. Transportation shortcuts, buddy pairing, live location sharing, and safety resources surfaced in the app are informational supplements only and are not a substitute for your own judgment. You are solely responsible for your actions on and off the platform.

Acceptable conduct

You agree not to use the Service to harass, threaten, impersonate, or defraud others; to post sexual content involving minors or non-consensual content; to share content that is hateful, violent, or that promotes self-harm; or to interfere with the security or operation of the Service. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Content ownership

You retain ownership of the content you create (photos, messages, crawls). By posting content you grant LetsCrawl a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant this license and that your content does not infringe anyone else's rights. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

Third-party content and links

The Service may include venue information, maps, and links provided by third parties. We do not endorse and are not responsible for third-party content. Your interactions with third-party venues or services are solely between you and those third parties.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings or from /delete-account. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the rights or safety of other users.

Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including content license, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) will survive.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Venue information, hours, and availability are provided for convenience and may be out of date.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LetsCrawl and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the version and effective date at the top of the page and notify you within the Service. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
